  • Job Matching: We use AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to analyze your resume and generate relevant job search queries
  • Job Search: We use third-party APIs (SerpAPI) to fetch live job listings from Google Jobs based on your profile
  • Service Delivery: To create your account, process your uploads, and deliver your job match results
  • Communication: To send you important updates about your account or our service (we don't send marketing emails without consent)
  • Improvement: To understand how users interact with JobMatchNow and improve our matching algorithms

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • Resume files and account data are stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database platform
  • All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
  • Access to your data is restricted and protected by authentication
  • We implement regular security reviews and updates to protect against unauthorized access

Third-Party Services

To provide our job matching service, we work with trusted third-party providers:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes your resume to extract skills and generate job queries. Your resume content is sent to their API for analysis
  • SerpAPI: Fetches real-time job listings from Google Jobs. Your search queries (not personal data) are sent to retrieve relevant jobs
  • Supabase: Provides secure database and authentication services for data storage
  • Stripe: Processes payments for premium subscriptions (payment data is handled directly by Stripe, not stored by us)

Your Data, Your Rights

You have control over your personal information:

  • Access: You can view your uploaded resumes and job matches anytime in your account
  • Update: You can upload new resumes to replace old ones
  • Delete: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export: You can download your job match results
  • Sharing: Your job matches have unique shareable links - only share these with people you trust

What We DON'T Do

We respect your privacy and commit to the following:

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • We do not share your resume with employers without your explicit action
  • We do not use your data for purposes other than providing our job matching service
  • We do not send spam or sell your email to marketers

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for service improvement and analytics purposes.
